TRA LE PIEGHE / AMONG THE FOLDS
Il progetto Tra le pieghe si sviluppa nel 2013 in seguito ad un maturato interesse per il panneggio. Il drappo, sempre presente nella ricerca evolutiva dell’artista, muta mediante la trasformazione plastica della termoformatura. Pieghe e panneggi si animano e in alcuni casi celano tracce e segni che coincidono con gli elementi essenziali della percezione, quali luce/ombra, bianco/nero, dentro/fuori. Panneggi che nelle loro infinite combinazioni, raccontano gli innumerevoli risvolti della vita, dove niente è chiaro e rivelato.
The project Among the folds develops in 2013, following an increased interest in the drapery. The drape has always been present in the evolving research of the artist, changing through the plastic transformation of thermoforming. Folds and draperies come alive and in some cases they hide those traces and signs which coincide with the essential elements of perception, such as light / shadow, white / black, inside / outside. Draperies which portray, using their infinite combinations, all the implications of life, where nothing is clear and revealed.
