La ricerca Cortocircuiti nasce dall’esigenza di mettere in contrapposizione simboli dogmatici codificati. Il modo in cui Gino Sabatini Odoardi affronta il concetto di sacro poggia su un atteggiamento agnostico, sulla ferma convinzione che l'assoluto sfugga alla mente umana e, di conseguenza, non sia possibile parlare di ciò che non si conosce. L'intenzione, piuttosto, è quella di mettere in discussione l'indiscutibile - anche quando si tratta di scomodare la storia - per contestare l'accettazione passiva dei fatti.
